3M™ All Weather Paint

3M™ All Weather Paint is a traffic paint system consisting of high-build waterborne paint and 3M bonded core elements resulting in a pavement marking that is highly reflective in both dry and rainy conditions for all-weather performance. 3M all weather paint includes a “high build” resin to enable thicker application for lines that last up to twice as long as conventional traffic paint.

3M™ Stamark™ Durable Pavement Marking Tapes

Durable, conformable, preformed reflective tapes for permanent-type applications such as lane and center lines, edge lines, gore markings, crosswalks, stop bars, symbols and legends. 3M™ Stamark™ Pavement Marking tapes may be applied as an overlay marking on an existing surface or may also be inlayed directly into hot asphalt surfaces.

• 3M™ Stamark™ High Performance Wet Reflective Tape Series 380WR ES

Series 380WR ES is a durable pavement marking tape with specially designed optics that provide superior retroreflective performance under both wet and dry conditions. It includes 3M’s “extended season” adhesive for application without surface preparation adhesive during the normal application season, or during early and late season with surface preparation adhesive. Series 380WR ES can be used as an inlay marking on new asphalt or as an overlay marking on most asphalt and concrete pavement surfaces. • 3M™ Stamark™ Extended Season Tape Series 380I ES

Series 380I ES extended season tape combines reflective beads, a durable topcoat and an improved adhesive for a high performance tape that may be applied in temperatures as cool as 40 degrees F. The improved adhesive package extends the striping season by several months and eliminates the need for surface preparation adhesive, saving time in the overall application. Contrast marking tape is durable, highly reflective, patterned marking tape available in white or yellow, with non-reflective black borders. Best suited for application as lane lines on light-colored asphalt or Portland Cement Concrete surfaces to improve contrast and visibility. Available in the standard high performance Series 380I ES for extended season application and 380WR for wet reflectivity. L385ES is the non-reflective black border portion of 3M™ Stamark™ Contrast Marking Tape L380I-5ES, available non-linered and linered versions with pressure sensitive, "early season" adhesive.

• 3M™ Stamark™ Pavement Marking Tape Series 270 ES

Stamark 270 ES tape is a durable, patterned tape with a polyurethane top coat for long-term retained whiteness and a reinforcing net in the adhesive layer to minimize shear and tearing in the intersection environment. Apply 270 ES without surface preparation adhesive during the typical tape season or add use of surface preparation adhesive in early spring and late fall to extend the marking season by several months. Stamark symbols and legends are pre-cut from white 3M™ Stamark™ Pavement Marking Tapes and have a pressure sensitive adhesive and liner for ease in application. Stamark symbols and legends meet the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) design requirements. 3M™ Stamark™ High Performance Symbols and Legends Series SMS-L380I ES Series SMS-L380I ES symbols and legends are pre-cut from white 3M™ Stamark™ High Performance Tape Series 380I ES. The symbols and legends have a pressure sensitive adhesive and liner for ease in application.

Performs for the duration of the construction season; easily removed when the project is finished.

Raised pavement markers (RPMs) are durable, highly reflective markers used for longitudinal lines and gore markings on new and existing asphalt or concrete road surfaces. 3M RPMs are made with 3M™ Diamond Grade™ prismatic optics for maximum reflectivity, are lightweight and impact resistant and available for both sun country and snowplow regions.

3M™ Pavement Marking Surface Preparation Adhesives

Pavement marking adhesives and surface preparation adhesives are used in the application of 3M™ Stamark™ Pavement Marking Tapes, Pavement Markers and Symbols and Legends.

• 3M™ Stamark™ Contact Cement E-44T

Contact cement E44-T is used to improve adhesion of 3M™ Stamark™ Series 380I, 420, 5730 and 5760 Tapes to the road surface. Coverage is 75 sq. ft. per gallon for adhesive coated materials and 25 sq. ft. per gallon for non-adhesive coated.

• 3M™ Stamark™ Surface Preparation Adhesive P-50

Surface preparation adhesive used to improve the adhesion of all 3M™ Stamark™ tapes, when applied for longitudinal applications. Coverage of 450 lineal feet per gallon. P-50 is also used as a surface preparation adhesive for certain applications of Stamark™ Removable Tapes.
