3M's unique cold-shrink products, pre-stretched on a removable core, shrink to fit to ensure a permanent, durable environmental seal and protection. The 3M™ Splice Kit 8420 Series is an EPDM rubber splice for 0-1000 volts while the 8440 Series has insulating sleeves of a specially formulated high-temperature silicone rubber with a broad operating temperature range. 3M™ Direct Bury Splices are underground electrical wire connector kits that splice and effectively moisture-seal two or more conductors.

3M™ Motor Lead Splice Kits reliably protect motor lead connections. 3M™ Heat Shrink Splice Kits can provide an effective means of insulating, protecting and moisture sealing a variety of applications. 3M™ Resin Splice Kits offer a high degree of mechanical strength for physical protection of connections and moisture-resistant insulation in above-ground or direct-burial applications.
